ABM University College was the launchpad for my entrepreneurial journey. When the Executive Director told us, "We are going to raise Business Leaders out of you," it ignited a fire in me.
During my time there, I co-founded the All Brilliant Minds Organization (ALBRIMO), which went on to impact thousands of students, influence national policy, and shape social change. With ABM’s support, I represented Botswana in the Philippines—a life-changing milestone that expanded my vision.
ABM laid the foundation for my success. Today, I am the founder of Launchit International, with investments in entrepreneurship development through Project124 Africa, publishing through Black & Yellow, and multimedia through Launchit Studios. I am also a renowned radio personality, best-selling author, and advocate for youth empowerment.
My journey has been further enriched by global platforms like the Mandela Washington Fellowship at Northwestern University and recognition as a Leader in Social Change by Humanitarian Affairs Asia. ABM didn’t just teach me—it transformed me into a global leader.
I am incredibly grateful for the experience and opportunities I've gained at ABM University College. During my time here, I was able to refine my skills, broaden my knowledge, and develop a strong foundation for my future career. I was part of ABMUC under the Anglia Ruskin University where I graduated qualified with a BA (Honors) Human Resource Management in 2015 and an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management in 2014
Some of my key achievements was being Miss ABMUC 2012/2013, also being part of the center of ABMUC Entrepreneurship center launch, which allowed me to gain practical experience in running a business as well as engaging with other youths in business, where I am currently a successful operator of Beauty Hub Academy a pageantry company which has been privileged to train the likes of Miss Botswana in Palesa Molefe .
The faculty at ABM University College have been instrumental in my development. They not only provided top-notch academic support but also encouraged me to pursue opportunities beyond the classroom. I was able to attend workshops, internships, and career fairs that connected me with industry professionals and gave me a competitive edge in the job market proven by my professional journey thus far.
Thanks to the diverse learning environment and supportive community at ABM University College, I have gained invaluable insights into Leadership and Influencing Skills, Knowledge Management, Green Computing, Perfect Presentations, Project Management which empowered me confidently moving forward in my career.

Good day, my name is Mr Odumetse Seliti, (MBA). I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Human Resources Management (First Class) from ABM University and Anglia Ruskin University in 2016. As an ABM University alumni, I have consistently strived for excellence, resulting in outstanding academic performance that earned me a First Class honor in HRM. This achievement reflects ABMUC dedication and commitment to nurturing the dreams of the youth in our country through building prosperous and successful future leaders
Throughout my time at ABM University, I have embraced opportunities to apply my learning in both academic and practical settings, continuously striving to develop as a professional.
In addition to my academic success, I have cultivated strong relationships with both my peers and staff members. I was actively involved in student representative council (SRC) as a Minister of Education and Transformation, supporting my fellow students in their academic and personal endeavors. My ability to work cordially with others has allowed me to foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork within my academic cohort.
I am proud to be part of a vibrant and dynamic ABMUC team, where I have not only excelled academically but have also formed meaningful connections that will undoubtedly support me as I progress in my career.
In 2007 I completed a Diploma in Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations from ABM University College. Developed a strong foundation in core Principles of Marketing, Branding and customer engagement. My qualifications have been key in shaping my approach to creating impact campaigns that resonates with diverse audiences.
I am currently serving as the Assistant General Manager of Adansonia group of hotels, where I oversee daily operations, Coordinate marketing initiatives and support strategic business goals, my role allows me to leverage my expertise in hospitality Management & Marketing ensuring high quality guest experiences while boosting brand visibility.
When I first started my enterpreneural journey, I was fuelled by passion and the believe that I could create something meaningful, however I soon learnt the path was far from easy. I founded Thalisa’s beauty spa in 2014, fast forward today I am proud to say my business has grown beyond what I had initially imagined. But beyond the financial success the true reward has been the personal growth and the opportunity to inspire others to pursue their dreams.
"Winning a scholarship during the 30th year anniversary of ABM UNIVERSITY COLLEGE remains one of the key cornerstone that enhanced my social Entrepreneurship journey and experience.
As a student doing the practical and theoretical work under the Business Incubator based in Gaphatswa, I was mentored on personal mastery, book of accounts, opening, running & daily operations of a business, the marketing and the sales part. Developing products as our final examination pushed us to be on our best entrepreneurial behaviour, from inception until sales, with start up capital from the university, we ensured we pushed and became visible in the market.
That alone was very different from my previous school experience and allowed me to break out of the shell. As a cooperative practitioner, I believe ABM developed an innovative leader in me, a compassionate advocate for other youth. It is with this course that I was selected as a runner up for the Best Youth In Leadership at the Botswana Youth Awards, awarded a prestigious award of recognition of exceptional and devoted service to Botswana, the Presidential Order of Meritirious Services by the President of the Republic of Botswana and later given the honour to be the President of Botswana Lesotho Eswatini (BOLESWA) Youth Co-operatives Federation.
These accolades are testimony of the great institution being ABM in raising a generation of prosperous entrepreneurs and business leaders"
