CHANCELLOR OF ABM UNIVERSITY COLLEGE - HON. PROFESSOR JUSTICE OAGILE BETHUEL KEY DINGAKE (PhD)
Professor Justice Oagile Bethuel Key Dingake has served as a judge for more than a decade. In that time, he has sat on the High Court of Botswana, the Industrial Court of Botswana, the Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone, and the Supreme and National Courts of Papua New Guinea. He was appointed Justice of Court of Appeal of Seychelles.
Professor Justice Dingake’s career straddles, legal practice, the judiciary, corporate sector and academia. Prior to joining the bench, he was a lecturer at the University of Botswana, teaching in the areas of constitutional law, human rights law, legal practice, employment law, administrative law and commercial law. He was also a Senior Partner with the firm of Moupo, Motswagole and Dingake specialising in administrative, constitutional and labour law in the course of his glittering career. He has won many accolades. In 2013, he was awarded a Bronze Medal by Women’s Link Worldwide Organisation for promoting gender justice following his landmark decision in the celebrated case of Mmusi Ramantele. In the same year, the University of Cape Town awarded him an Honorary Professorship for his distinguished career at the bench and scholarship. Again in 2019, the James Cook University in Australia appointed him an Adjunct Professor of Law in the Faculty of Law. Judge Dingake has published more than seven (7) legal books, including on the role of the judiciary in protecting the rights of vulnerable groups and been actively involved in judicial leadership efforts related to HIV and health. His latest publications include: - (1) Judges, (2) In Pursuit of Justice, (3) Lawyers and (4) Towards a People’s Constitution for Botswana Professor Justice Dingake is a recognised judicial leader in Africa and currently serves as one of the Lead Facilitators at the Judicial Institute for Africa (JIFA), University of Cape Town, an institution that trains African judges on core judicial skills, amongst others. He is the current President and Co-Chair of the African Judges Forum on HIV, TB and Human Rights, convened by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) respectively.

Professor Jordaan is currently appointed as Postgraduate Supervision Professor (ICT Department) and e-skills Research Coordinator (CoLab) at Vaal University of Technology. She is also a Consultant and Specialist Advisor for the South African Technology and Training Platform (SATTP) in Research and Development (R&D), Postgraduate Supervision, and Educational Technologies.

She is a seasoned strategist currently holding the portfolio of Director Strategic Planning and Delivery in the African Union Commission. She has held over fifteen (15) years of senior management positions in the areas of Strategy, Research, Process Management, Project Management, Change Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Risk Management and Corporate Governance having served as a Board Secretary and in a number of Boards including some State owned Enterprises in Botswana.
Prior to joining the African Union Commission, Botho was the CEO of Botswana National Olympic Committee, an organisation affiliated to the International Olympic Committee and the Commonwealth Games Federation. Prior to that she was the Executive Director - Business Intelligence in Botswana Investment and Trade and Center, where she was responsible for Strategy, Research, Risk Management and Project management functions.
Botho also served as Manager Strategy & Research at Botswana Qualification Authority, Corporate Planning Manager and Board Secretary for Botswana Housing Corporation, Strategy & Projects Coordinator at Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency.
She also served the Office of the President, Botswana National Productivity Center, Botswana Prisons Service and the then Central Statistics Office as a Statistician, Researcher and or Strategist. Botho graduated with a Degree in Statistics and Demography from the University of Botswana and a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Management from University of Derby, UK.
There after she opened her learning capabilities becoming an alumnus of the Oxford University - Executive Leadership Development Programme, University of Stellenbosch - Senior Management Development Programme, WITS University – Women in Leadership Programme. She is a certified Change Manager- Prosci Methodologies, Project Manager – Prince 2, Quality Management Systems- ISO 9001 and had gone through a number of Leadership and Corporate governance trainings building a resolute leader. She is currently studying for a Doctor Degree in Transformational Leadership with Bakke Graduate University, Texas, USA.
She is a leader and have a vast experience as a strategist. She served in a number of Boards such as the Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority, Botswana National Sports Council, a Member of Council - ABM University College and was a Member of Technical Advisory Team of Economic Recovery Plan Covid-19 in Botswana. She is currently taking pride in serving and leading the Technical Working Group crafting the Second Decade plan, dabbed Second Ten Year Implementation Plan (STYIP) of the African blue print towards an Integrated, Prosperous and Peaceful Africa, Agenda 2063, which she considers as an honor to serve our continent towards “the Africa we want”. Mrs Bayendi is also a member of the Executive Board of Africa Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF).
There after she opened her learning capabilities becoming an alumnus of the Oxford University - Executive Leadership Development Programme, University of Stellenbosch - Senior Management Development Programme, WITS University – Women in Leadership Programme. With a diverse background in strategic management, brand development, corporate communications, and multimedia production, she has consistently delivered remarkable results across various sectors, including telecommunications, media, advertising, and consumer goods.
Holding an MSc in Strategic Management (Marketing) from the University of Derby (UK) and a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television Production from Queensland University of Technology (Australia), Motshidisi combines a solid academic foundation with extensive practical experience.
Her skillset encompasses developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, identifying new business opportunities, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance marketing initiatives. Motshidisi's career has been marked by numerous achievements and leadership roles. As the Marketing and Communication Manager at Metropolitan Botswana, she spearheads the development of marketing and communication strategies, identifies new business prospects. Prior to that, she served as the Marketing Director at Seaway (Pty) Ltd, where she successfully launched and managed the SeaWay Water Brand, positioning it alongside well-established international water companies.
Her tenure at BTC and beMOBILE showcased her versatility as she held pivotal positions such as Commercial Sponsorship and Corporate Events Manager, Brand Identity, Campaigns and Events Manager, and beMOBILE Head of Marketing and Communications.
In these roles, she excelled in brand strategy development, brand unification, product campaigns, and corporate event management. Notably, Motshidisi was the Project Manager for the BTCL Brand Unification Project, where she seamlessly merged the BTC and beMOBILE brands.

Her documentaries have been screened for clients such as the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC), COCEPWA, the Botswana Defense Force, and the Vision 2016 Council, among others.

Additionally, Motshidisi has made significant contributions to the sports industry, serving as the PR Manager for the Botswana Softball Association from 2009 to 2010.
