Heading west along the Western Bypass towards Kgale Hill, the Westgate Shopping Centre is positioned just before the two Engen garages. Ithas a very large Choppies which stocks an impressive array of Indian spices and vegetables, in addition to its usual range of groceries andfoodstuffs. Chutney an excellent but unassuming Indian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant are situated in this centre, and the main branch of Pharmalulu is also located in this centre.

Molapo Crossing is worth a visit.Situated on the Western Bypass just next to the Molepolole interchange, this small centre has among other things, an excellent Pick n Pay (great for meat and fresh flowers among many other things), a pharmacy, health shop, outdoor activity outlet, several small boutiques stocking excellent leather accessories and quality outfits, video hire shop, a photo shop, Postnet, the only pet shop in Gabs, an art gallery and last but by no means least, Chilli Pepper – the one and only home industry and ‘almost antique’ furniture outlet in Gabs
